position is a simple one, as it strives essentially to adhere to
perrenial Catholic teaching in every aspect of its journalism. There has
been great upheaval and revolution within the Catholic Church over the
past four or five decades -- perhaps, as some say, not unlike the one
encountered in the fourth century by St. Athanasius, called the Arian
Heresy -- and Catholics are called to oppose that which in any way
contradicts the infallible teachings and immutable traditions of the
Catholic Church, while maintaining undying communion with the living
magisterium.
TCR joins other responsible
Catholics loyal to the Pope and Church, this Jubilee, in opposing the
neo-modernist revolution and its bitter manifestations, just as it
opposes the others errors that affect and infect the modern world--
Integrism and all schismatic theology, secular globalism, Communism,
Socialism (old forms or new) the abortion epidemic, euthanasia, sex
education, Sodomy, etc., etc.
The great summary and criterion
of Catholic orthodoxy in our time is the Catechism of the Catholic
Church which summarizes and reaffirms the whole doctrinal tradition of
the Roman Catholic Church. With the Holy Father and Cardinal Ratzinger,
we urge a return to the actual texts of the documents of Vatican II and
reject any proposed "renewal" which would seek to go beyond or
astray from the actual texts.
