Jesus, I Trust in You! (In Praise of Divine Mercy)

Strength at the altar,
Courage from above
When I’m ready to falter,
You reach out in love

Hold me to Your heart,
When I’m weary and weak
I don’t have the strength,
But You give what I seek

Pray to the Father,
Following the Son
Show me the Spirit,
You Three in One

See me kneeling.
Wretched as I am
Graces from Heaven,
Blessings from Your hand

Mother hold me close,
As I cry from the heart
Brothers and sisters,
Help me stand apart

Crying the soul’s tears,
“To whom should I go?”
You reach out to hold me
You always seem to know
The solution to my struggle
The answer before I ask
The strength for what’s ahead
The courage that I lack

Help me to give my all
& To cry out with truth
That though I fail alone
“Jesus, I trust in You!”

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
